Piko Interactive Collection 1 Evercade Review
8 Eyes is a game I can't say anything about because I just don't understand how it works/where to go. ?/10
Ok, so I'm just going to say right here, I'm not going to review Brave Battle Saga, Canon, Drakkhen, Dragon View, and The Immortal because I hate older RPG's and with the time it would take to give a rating for those five games, I could probably make another Evercade review. I'll go back to reviewing games now.
Dorke & Ymp is a pretty great platformer with fluid, beautiful animation, good music, and is just fun to play. 8.5/10
Iron Commando is an insanely good beat 'em up that's very fun to play, has pretty great graphics, and the soundtrack is outstanding! 10/10
Jim Power is a very fun, very hard platformer that I recommend to experts of the genre. 9/10
Magic Girl is a pretty fun cute 'em up that has great music, pretty good gameplay, and it isn't too challenging. 8.5/10
Nightshade is one of the most unique games on the NES and while I'm not much a fan of it, it's one of the most interesting games on the system. 7.5/10
Power Piggs of the Dark Age is a decent platformer that doesn't have much special about it, I guess the graphics look pretty good though. 7/10
Power Punch 2 is a decent Punch-Out clone, but Creepy Brawlers on Mega Cat Studios Collection 1 is better. 7/10
Radical Rex is a very good platformer that I'll need to play more of after this review's finished. 9/10
Switchblade is a pretty good platformer with fantastic music. 8.5/10
The Humans is a pretty good puzzle game a little similar to Lemmings. 8/10
Tinhead is a very good platformer with some fantastic music. 9/10
Top Racer is known as one of the best SNES racing games for a reason, it's very good, has beautiful graphics, has some great music, and there can be 20 racers at once. 9.5/10
Way of the Exploding Fist is surprisingly decent for an NES fighting game. 7/10
Water Margin is another great beat 'em up on this cartridge that has some absolutely great music.
The Piko Interactive Collection 1 is a collection I recommend to everyone with an Evercade. No matter who you are, I'm sure there's something you'd like on this cartridge due to just how much variety there is. There's also a lot of games most people haven't heard of in this collection, so there's most likely at least one game in this collection you've never heard of or played (the only game I played before buying this collection was Nightshade, though I had heard of a couple others). Overall, the Piko Interactive Collection 1 gets a 9/10.
