Atari Lynx Collection 2 Evercade Review

Atari Lynx Collection 2 Evercade Review

Blue Lightning is a great flight combat game on the Evercade that looks beautiful for an Atari Lynx game. 9/10

California games is a collection of four minigames, BMX is a decent biking game where you have to try flipping to get points, Surfing is the best minigame where you do flips while avoiding waves for points, Halfpipe is a decent little skating minigame where you do tricks for (surprise, surprise) points, Footbag is literally Hacky Sack and it's pretty fun. Also, this collection of minigames has pretty good music. 8.5/10

Checkered Flag is a pretty great racing game that's fast and looks gorgeous. 8.5/10

Chip's Challenge is the best puzzle game on the Evercade, I said a while ago that Magical Drop 2 was the best Evercade puzzle game, but after playing this, I know that Chip's Challenge is even better. 10/10

Electrocop is a decent action game where you need to hack doors to get out of rooms and it has some pretty great 3d for a Lynx game. Oh, and the best part about the game is that there is are three minigames you can play and one of them is Breakout. 7/10

Gates of Zendocon is a pretty good shmup that has some pretty great music. 8/10

Todd's Adventures in Slime World is a decent platformer that isn't that special. 7/10

Zarlor Mercenary is a great shmup that's vertical instead of being horizontal like Gates of Zendocon. It's also the better shmup. 9/10

The Atari Lynx Collection 2 is a pretty good collection full of games by Epyx. There's a good amount of variety in this collection, Shmups, a puzzle game, a platformer, a flight combat game, and even a racing game. Overall, the Atari Lynx Collection 2 is a 8.5/10. (Side-note: I guess this is a little off-topic for a collection full of games by Epyx, but I would love an Atari Lynx Collection 3 with more games owned by Songbird.)

Namco Museum Collection 2 Evercade Review

Namco Museum Collection 2 Evercade Review     Burning Force is a fantastic shmup that is beautiful, has great music, and the gameplay is great. This is a absolutely fantastic start to a great collection. 10/10     Dig Dug 2 is even better than the first and gets rid of my only complaint about the first game, there is now music when you aren't walking. 10/10     Dragon Spirit is another very fun shmup that, while not as good as Burning Force, is still an absolute blast to play. 9/10     Galaga is the sequel to Galaxian and this game is better in almost every single way. It's an arcade classic for a good reason, it's very fun, and it's hard to want to stop playing. 9/10     Pac-Attack is a pretty fun puzzle game that plays like Tetris, but with ghosts and Pac-Man. How it works is you need to make lines like in Tetris, but you can't do that with ghosts mixed in with blocks so you need to use Pac-Man's (Pac-Men?) to eat the ghost do th...

Xeno Crisis and Tanglewood Evercade Review

Xeno Crisis & Tanglewood Evercade Review          Tanglewood is a very good 2D puzzle platformer where you play as a cute little creature and you have to try to not be eaten by bigger, and stronger creatures. It's very fun, is gorgeous, and the music is just amazing. Tanglewood is seriously a great game and one of the best on the Evercade. Tanglewood is one of the best platformers on the Evercade and if you're a fan of the genre, you need to play it. 9.5/10     Xeno Crisis might be the best game on the Evercade. It's fast, arcade-y, crazy, fun with stunning visuals for a Genesis game, maybe the best music on the Evercade, it's challenging, but still fair, there are cheats if you're into that, and it is infinitely replayable. Tanglewood is a fantastic game, but Xeno Crisis blows it out of the water. Each and every level is fun and no matter how many times I replay them, they are still a blast to play. The boss fights too, are just amazing, hug...

Data East Collection 1 Evercade Review

Data East Collection 1 Evercade Review     Bad Dudes just isn't fun, it's boring and ugly and you shouldn't play it. 4/10     Burnin' Rubber is pretty fun and it looks pretty nice for an NES game, also you can destroy cars with you car by jumping on them. 8.5/10     Burger Time is very fun, has a good difficulty level, and is a great version of the classic arcade game. 9/10     Two Crude Dudes is a very fun beat 'em up where you can pick up and throw almost everything in the game. 9/10     Fighters History is (as of writing) the best fighting game that's on the Evercade, it is very fun and I recommend it to all fans of the genre. 9/10     Joe & Mac 2 is yet another fantastic game on this fantastic cartridge that I have to recommend, plus it's one of the best platformers on the Evercade. 9/10     Karate Champ is just terrible, it is a boring fighting game with terrible controls. 3/10     Magical Dr...
